99% of people don't do the amount of work to their civic the entire time they have it that Brian has done to his in the past 5 months. He has transformed his mild mannered 98 Civic EX to a hybrid monster. The soul of the car is a 1995 B18C motor found only in the Integra Type R in Japan. The motor by itself cranks out 200 crank hp. But that isn't enough. To let the JDM motor breathe easier, he has added an AEM Cold Air Intake, DC 4-1 Header and a GReddy Evolution Exhaust. Inside is an Exedy clutch and lightened flywheel, along with some 1998 USDM ITR cams and JUN cam gears. However, this civic likes turning too. On all four corners you'll find Tein Flex-type coilovers and Yokohama AVS ES100 rubber. To hold the driver still while taking these sharp turns is a set of Momo Street Racer seats and Sparco 4 point harnesses. This hybrid also looks and sounds sweet for those cruises around town. Inside is a custom stereo system put together by Brian himself, and outside is a pair of front and rear OEM under spoilers.
